From what i hear, there is medication for that kind of incontincence though. You can potty train your dog by using a crate. For the past few months coco has done very well with potty training.

This Has Been Getting Better Though.

The obvious reason spaying and neutering is so critical is to prevent unwanted. However, incontinence is a known and not uncommon side effect of spaying. It does not help nor should it hinder.
